saab's concept car:

The car's based on the 50 year old Sonet, the Aero-X has a V6 biturbo engine producing 400 HP which is driven on bio-etanol.

This car'll do 0-60 mph in 4.9 sec. until it's reaches topspeed at 155 mph. The car has also been made aerodynamic after work in the airtunnel.

That's the most important I understood from the norwegian.

Nica car if you ask me 👍

...Don't be surprised if the design shows up on the Kappa platform for 2008 running the 2.0L DI Turbo from the Solstice GXP and Sky Red Line...

but somehow with front wheel drive :dopey:

It would be cool to see them do an AWD version of the Kappa for Saab, but I doubt that will happen...

It's running a 400BHP twin-turbo V6, through a DSG-style sequential gearbox and into a rear-biased AWD system. Interesting features include an unobstructed, wraparound windscreen and a dashboard made of acrylic panels onto which the gauges are (I assume) projected. It also has a double-wishbone front suspension, in the interest of keeping the bonnet line low.

While it won't be reaching production, many elements of its style and technology, including the dash, windscreen (albeit with normal doors, instead of the trick "jet-fighter" style canopy), gearbox, and AWD system, along with many styling elements, will reach production in a mid-small sports coupe, designed to rival the new Audi TT in terms of style and performance, sometime around 2009.
