Safari troubles

I've been having problems with my Chrome lately and I have to reinstall it so in the meantime I'm using Safari on a Mac.

The problem is that on a few of the subforums I can't get into them, the music subforum as an example. I can get the the thread with the latest post, and if I have a link to a thread I can get to it, I just can't get to the actual subforum.

The loading bar will go to about 2/3rds, and then it will just stop.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
 
Are you still experiencing this issue, Bopop?

What version of Safari are you using? I can't find any problems using the site with version 6.0.
 
I don't think so; there's nothing special or unique about that page or forum, and nobody else using that version of the browser has reported any problems. I can't think of any technical reason why that would occur, and am stumped, unfortunately.

Were you able to get Chrome working on your system again?
 
Sounds silly but did you try refreshing the page when that happened? I get it from time to time on any webpage, I guess something causes Safari to get stuck in a loop or hang up. A quick refresh or quitting the browser fixes it. How many times did you attempt to get into the sub-forum? I've never had it consistently happen on a certain page.
 
Chrome is working for now.
And refreshing it doesn't help, and it's only certain subforums, but the threads still work.
