With the conclusion of the final series of The Bridge (Broen) the distinctive 911S of the lead character (Saga Noren) is up for sale.

The US-spec car in distinctive Jäger Grün gained a cult following of its own amidst fan-forum speculation as to the origins with such an unusual specification for Europe. Eventually the mystery was solved when more details emerged about the car's arrival in Sweden and how it was acquired by The Bridge's production team.

The car will be sold at Goodwood's Festival of Speed with the proceeds going to Water Aid, offers are expected around €20,000. I want this car so much! :)

If I wasn't broke I'd be there like a shot. I've been looking at how much credit I can call in and what assets can be liquidated but I can't get anywhere near. I just hope it stays "local" (ie this part of Europe) and in years to come maybe I'll be able to get my hands on it.
 
Impact bumpers not really my thing, but the colour is lovely.

No way someone’s going to pick that up for 20k though... will be double that.

I don't know what sort of following the show has, but cars such as this are desirable and valuable enough as it is that that's not likely to do much to its value. That said, I see it easily going even triple.
