I said that the dlc in GT5 should have been more region related i,e. more karting for the U.K. Ute's from Australia, Trucks and large SUV's for the americas. I was hoping GT6 would be a more elaborate thought process in terms of vehicles. Personally for me, I want trucks, there was a slight ute edition with the el camino being added but not even close to good enough. Trucks were and are America's back bone for getting work done. We took the work truck and made it a highly tuned work horse from detroit diesel to Ford Raptors work horses become play toys with 1,000hp and 900ft lbs of torque in the diesel world. I know this game is about cars, but you are literally throwing it in my face when you add a stupid moon vehicle before more trucks. I have no hope for this GT5.5 and none for TT2 anymore as well. Those of you who love GT6, good, I'm glad someone likes it; that GT6 will not be perceived as a total loss. But I would be willing to also bet if fanboys who know the game is less than we expected would tell the truth, pd and kaz would actually listen and deliver a GT titled game that you and I the gamers hope for in dreams and live in, this, reality.

I guess it's the possibility of having one going its full potential with out flipping over on a corner. On that note I just wish they have had more option in car also (ex: mr2 turbo lol)

I'm from America and there is no way I would want more trucks OR SUV's.. The Lightning is ok as it's a performance truck, and I might want the new Ford F-150 Tremor, but nothing else fits the GT style and therefor should stay in other games.

I completly disagree that the USA should have more trucks and SUVs in this game a more variety of cars for the USA would be more ideal. America doesn't mean we want to race trucks all the time I think that's more just a matter of 1 demographic in America not the whole more muscle cars more variety of Japanese cars not the same ones more euros would be more what I think the USA would want and maybe even all the other regions if we want trucks to race as in a whole bunch of trucks maybe that should be for another game granted I wouldn't mind a Ford Raptor or the SRT RAM but I don't think we need of a huge variety of trucks

What are you talking about, I only drive pick 'em ups and the only reason I bought GT5 was cause it had Nascar. Way I see it, any 'murcan who drives anything other than a Ford product is a commie and a traitor! :irked:

I think they should at least convert all of the trucks/suvs already in the game to premium.

Edit: Or at least just update them into Semi-Premiums

I am also from Dallas. And on behalf of myself and America's Team, I vote we remove all trucks from the GT series. And while we are at it, I'd like trucks banned on American roads. More Miatas please.

Rover SDI V8S with bodykit in Vulcan green, used to have one, revolution wheels BFG'S all round 225's front, 265's rear, love to rag that round the Nurb : )

As far as I know the UK is the only country where you can race karts for a living and not be in poverty. Also I did not intend to start a war about stereotypes based on country or region though looking at the stereotypes would help certain regions get the vehicles they desire in the game.

Simply being from the region doesn't mean you are a part of the general consensus. And the trucks you mentioned are not even diesel. I would like to see more trucks but this game is about performance for most vehicles and diesel's are just that, right out of the factory.

I'm an American and I hate pick-up trucks in a racing game. I believe that a Pick-up truck is something you use to haul your racecar to the track not take the truck there and race it.I don't know where the rest of the planet got the idea that all Americans love pick-ups and lardazzed SUV's when that's about far from the truth. I have a thing for older BMW's like my E-12 Alpina with the Dinan built 3.8 liter...now that was a car!

Yeap would love them, as well as the really unfashionable cars: Triumph Stag/TR6/TR7/TR8/Dolomite Sprint, Rover P6/SD1 3500/Vitesse/TWR/Bastos racers, MG Midget/MGB/MGB GT/MGB GT V8/Metro/Maestro/Montego, Allegro 1750 HL, Marina 1800 TC/1700HL/1.3 Coupe/Ital, Jaguar XJS/TWR/XJ12C/XJRS, Talbot Sunbeam Lotus/Sunbeam ti, Vauxhall Chevette 2300, Reliant Scimitar 1800 ti/GTE 3.0/GTC 2.8 etc etc

all the cars I, and probably many others in UK and even Europe, saw and grew up with, but would never buy, but would like to try.

Having the opportunity to buy some 1970s and 1980s classics to never become would be awesome!
