Hi Guys, little help if possible.......

Have done a search but cant find anywhere that lists the SAME SPEC gt 3000 and 500 cars.

My racing league here in australia is looking for a season 6 car, and we love the idea of same spec, different livery racing.

i know there are the GTR skylines, lexus JTCC, NSX, in the dealership (all about 4 of them with same spec), and of course there are the nascars which all have the same spec. Ideally if there are 10 of these cars that have the same spec it would suit our needs perfectly, so that means there have to be others in the car dealership to get the numbers up.

Can anyone point me to a list that has the specs as well so i can check HP / Weight and torque in the one place for any of this series car???

Thanks in advance

Stu

Here's a quick way to see which cars are officially GT300 and GT500 per the game:

1. Start an online lounge and jump in any random production car in your garage.

2. From the Restrictions pull-down menu, select "SUPER GT300" class only allowed.

3. Then, when you try to enter the pit, it will prompt you that your car does not meet the requirements and you can see a list of all GT300 cars allowed.

You can do the same thing with the "SUPER GT500" selection.

If memory serves, there are either 10 or 11 GT300 cars. I'm not sure if the list is the same for the GT500 class online, but you can also try to run the SUPER GT seasonal in a non-GT car and it will also prompt you with the complete list of acceptable cars. I think it's the same list as in the onlne lounge, but don't quote me on that.

Good luck! 👍

I love running GT300 class at the ring and other fun tracks. Of course, I run them with no tuning allowed just to keep things as perfectly even as possible for true driver skill racing.

Thanks mate, i did that last night, but for some reason when i picked the wed sport lexus it still wouldnt let me go to track... not sure why?

I was hoping that someone had done a list so i could post on our race forum and i didnt have to go through and list all the details myself. I also want the cars to be identical spec, in terms of Hp / weight and torque.

Thanks fro your reply though

One thing I've found, if it is not on the list, it is not allowed. I can't remember seeing the Wedssport Lexus, but definitely the Wedssport Celica.

Also, if "No Tuning" is selected and it still won't let you in, you have to go into the car's settings and hit "default" for everything. It's a weird glitch, but I found it out when I tried to hop into a car which I've never driven in the game and use it in a No Tuning room, but it wouldn't let me in until I hit default for all settings, even though I never touched the car.

I don't have the list written down though. One thing, there are slight hp/weight/pp differences between the GT300 cars, but they are obviously close enough to all be in the same real life racing class.

The coolest thing is that once I actually had them all in my garage and set the room to GT300 only, I could easily compare all of the cars to each other by pp/hp etc. I'll look at the car lists around and see if I can find a typed-out list for you.

You can always pick one off of the list and limit it to a one-make race, too. ;)

I think there are only 10 GT300 cars and 36 GT500 cars, but I've never seen the GT500 list that a restricted online room generates.

Ahhhhh, hadnt seen the default tab so will try that tonight. Like the idea of the Gt500 cars if there about 36 of them. I noticed that there are the ones in the dealership (gtrs and NSXs and the lexus's), and looked quickly in my garage to see what was available but was late and without writing them down hard to remember all the specs.

We generally race one make with no tune, so that its equal for everyone, but now everyone is looking for a same spec, mixed livery grid.

Nascar is the best option in that regard, but they are big heavy and not really nimble to race on street circuits......

Will look at the gt500 tonight and get a list together, unless someone can pop one up before hand.

Thanks Again
