Sample cars

I am trying to find more info on what can and cant be done with the sample cars and sample car parts. I have search but have only found a couple of things, nothing too comprehensive.

Is there a guide to using the sample cars in Hybrid modding?

Of the 10 sample cars, there is really nothing useful in there aside from the Sample 1's engine, and suspension. There is probably not alot of information posted around, because there is really no point to using any of the few parts that do exsist. There are other hidden cars and parts that are useful.
