Ok did my search for this and didnt find it. I'll cut straight to the point, I'm considering purchasing a D900i from a friend, careful owner, not the type to mess people about, he's offering me a good price of £30 SIM etc. included.

My problem is I'm hearing alot of trouble with 'screen cracking' many people claiming they've taken the utmost care with their phones, and that it simply breaks in their pocket. Should this be enough to put me off my purchase? or are these people just claiming careful ownership and that they genuinely have caused damage (perhaps they didn't realise what they did would break it) and that the screen is just weak, but not so weak it'll break for no reason!

Could do with replys today as I'm checking out the phone tomorrow and possibly making my purchase.

Thanks in advance for any information :)

Well, i do know a friend who has this phone and has been using it for almost 2 years and it seems fine. Still pretty solid in feel

Ok, I think ill buy it anyway, im getting i complete with charger, SIM and headphones, so it basically a new phone, good condition to. I got my old phone back ( a friend had picked it up by accident in their folder! ), but im in need of an update, my old phone was supposed to be a temporary (it doesnt even have a colour screen!!!). It does seem a minority who has issues with it, and the phone has been solid to him for 7 months, so it's a pretty safe bet.

Thanks for the reply :)
