ok im new here and maybe shouldnt have started a new thread for this question, but here goes...i bought the samsung hl-t6756w 67" dlp about two months ago and have been worried about the quality since the purchase. not that i think samsung doesnt make a great tv but that maybe the tv is a much older or lesser quality model than you might find at a "regular" electronics dealer. (i bought it at costco) anyway my question is this...when i watch certain shows and only certain scenes...particularly darker, shaded areas...i get alot of picture distortion, for lack of better terminology. its like the darker areas have pixeling or something. i was wondering of this is a result of something inherant in the tv itself? or just something thats being broadcast through the signal. i have direct tv but use an HD antenna for my local HD broadcasts. It only seems to be one or two certain shows and seems to be only one channel.(fox) to be exact and the show i notice it most in is prison break. all other sources look great...xbox 360 looks awesome as well as my upconvert 1080i dvd player. I would greatly appreciate any help or advice and if i havent explained everything in detail as needed then i will post more as required
