Same Battery???

S2 = 1,650mAh battery
S3 = 2,100mAh battery

"Still doubting that the battery inside the Samsung Galaxy S3 will have enough juice to comfortably run the flagship phone’s 4.8-inch SUPER AMOLED HD screen and quad-core processor? We have some good news for you, then. According to battery benchmark tests, Samsung Galaxy S3’s 2,100mAh battery won’t disappoint at all."

ANDROID AUTHORITY

Sorry, my mistake, as I'm in Canada (as are you), I was referring to the North American Version, not international. The specs you provided are for the international version of the S3 not North American.

The North American version only has 'Dual Core' while the International has 'Quad'. We got 2 gigs RAM while international got only 1.

Here's some rough specs. It doesn't have the battery specs on it, but you'll see that there are 2 versions.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say. I have already stated in a previous post that there are 2 versions. The battery stats are correct. I just checked my battery to be sure.

International or North American version doesn't matter the battery is bigger and better in the S3 than the s2. You got a buggy phone if your battery life was less but also remember most custom ROMs are better on battery than stock so don't compare custom to stock battery life.

Dont get the US version by choise. If you can afoord the $800 price tag, get the international factory version as it functions much better...

My resource, I have the international, my bro has the US one.

Hate to dig this thread up, but, has anybody had any screen burn-in with the SIII? I'd like to know as I may be getting one tomorrow. I've also heard that Samsung will replace any screens that have bad burn-in. Any truth to this?

AMOLED displays are susceptible to screen burn if a still image is left on it for a prolonged time (i.e. 24 hours) but it'll be covered under warranty.

I've set the display timeout to 10 minutes on mine and no problems yet.
