San Andreas Coming to Xbox and PC

Sorry, no link at the moment but check xbox.ign.com if you're anal about proof. A 'connection' ;) at Rockstar says as long as you have a decent PC spring for that version instead of the Xbox, though. He says it's more worth it because it's so much easier to aim and the ability to mod it easily.

This needs to be moved to the GTA forum.

Expect to see some extreme modding in GTA:SA PC version. Expect to see the following:

1) New Tattoos
2) New hairstyles
3) Whole new range of vehicles
4) Maybe some online play via third party software.

It's going to be brilliant.
 
omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg. saving christmas money as of..NOW. I am getting More RAM, a new Hard drive and a better graphics card as of now. Holy Crap. Jeff said it wasnt comming out because Microsoft wouldn't fork over the $240 Million that Sony was asking. Holy Crap. omg. :D !!!!1
 
Guess what else is coming.

H-L2, and Xbox claims it, SA, and Doom 3 will look even better.
No way is Microsoft going to beat the graphics power of a newly-bought Dual GeForce 6800. 👎

Really can't say. Never heard of that model. But probably will. ATI is great.
 
If it's going to XBOX then at least PS2 got it first like it should! XBOX can go much on Halo 2 and crap like that.
 
The ATI Radeon 9800 Pro was Graphic's card of the year, by CGW and PC Gamer, and was included in the "Top 10 Gaming Machines of the Year" computers. All 10 had the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro. I think that was like 2 years ago tho, so I'm positive that ATI has come out with a better one. At the time of release the card would have set you back about $400.

We all knew that GTA:SA would be going to Xbox and PC, eventually.

yeah merry thingamajig.

I bought san andreas for PS2, but honestly, I've only played it to mess around so far. Other games instantly drew my attention away. Maybe it's the fact that I like Vice city's locale and era better, or the soundtrack. Meh, I'm trading it in and wait for the inevitable better xbox or pc version.

The reason GTA can port over to the XBOX is because it is published by a third party company. You'll never see Halo or Fable on PS2 because they are published by Microsoft. It's the same idea with the Gran Turismo series. That game is published by Sony, so it is going nowhere but the Playstation consoles. 💡
