So I was searching YouTube for some random things to do in GTA San Andreas and I came across this. It's basically updated San Andreas graphics to be similar to GTA IV and uses most of IV's engines for everything. All I have to say is OMG I want it. Just thought I'd share this. If you search the guys channel there is several other parts of the map he shows. The whole thing was redone. It's not perfect but it's millions of miles better than the original. If Rockstar ever really went over it and re-did it to GTA V's standards I think I would die considering how GTA is pretty much my overall favorite game series.

Impressive. I'd rather they hadn't brought over the voice acting from IV too, but that's freaking awesome all the same.

I'd like to know if it's possible to combine it with that amazing ENBSeries add-on for GTAIV.

Yeah me too. At least in HD. But what's in the video would make my life

Since they released GTA III as a PS2 classic, I was kind of hoping GTA VC or SA would get the same treatment. I know there's not much upscaling to be seen in PS2 classics, but I miss "the 80s" and traveling up Mount Chilliad so much that I wouldn't give a hoot. Just take my money.

Might was well just pick up the PC versions of Vice City and San Andres. They look better, control much better, can run on pretty much anything and can be had for a lot less than the PS2 Classic titles cost.

I know, I know. First I'd need a proper PC to run them on though. I've been meaning to get a gaming computer. Or rather a CPU, I don't actually watch anything on my TV, might as well use it as a monitor for my next PC as well...

Just need the other 2 now. I'd really like a port of SA to the Vita/PSP

Very impressive. I'd rather Rockstar didn't remake San Andreas though. It is my favourite of the series, but I think it's far too soon for a remake. Wouldn't you rather have a true sequel to it instead?

Correct me if I'm wrong but, isn't the game from '04?

I'm sorry, but I disagree. 8 years's a lot.

8 years ago? An HD release would be fine, but a full blown remake? It was only one hardware generation ago. It's perfectly playable on most PCs and if I opened up the right box in my mum's house in Scotland, I could find the disk and hardware to play it again.

I'm not saying they should “re-make” the game fully. I would only like a PS3 version (like the Sly Cooper-games). If it's HD only, or not, doesn't really matter to me.
My computer might be able to run the game after a downgrade, but it can't read the disc (it haven't got a drive), and I don't want to buy it on Steam either, because I'm unsure if it'll work.

If they did put SA in PS store for use on the Ps3 (With online) the community would grow quickly on it. Although it would maybe be too late with GTA V just around the corner.

Yes online XD.

With GTA 3 recently out and V around the corner it wouldn't be practical. Maybe a year after V's release or DLC but not now.

If they did bring these games back on PSN, would anyone here be interested in San Andreas, Vice City etc DLC? I know for a fact this will not happen but I'd buy it ASAP.

My PS3 plasy PS2 games, I still play San Andreas every now and then. It's easily my favorite GTA so far.

Yeah my PS3 can't. I have the 160gb so I just play it on my PS2 lol.

Does the PS3 upscale the games or do they still look like trash?

I need to pick up a few new PS2's to be honest. Just to have them. I've already owned 3 (all given to me). My slim still works, I broke one of the fat ones to try and clean the laser (didn't need it after all, disc was dirty), and the other fat one I had just quit. The slim I have works, but I need to put something heavy on the lid otherwise it stops reading the disc until I close it (says it's open but it's really not). Weird.

What I really need is new discs....

Which PS3 can actualy play PS2 games? I got the old 80GB one it can play PS1 games though .

On topic of if they brought Vice City and SA to PS3 as a cheap enough DLC yes I would buy it 👍.
