The SARD MC87S is a Group C car developed by SARD for the 1987 All-Japan Endurance Championship (later JSPC).

SARD developed the M86X in 1986 and fought for the overall victory in the Group C class, on Japan. It's best finish was 7th, thought reliability issues made the car struggle during the races. After the season ended, SARD decided to develop the MC87S as the sucessor of the MC86X.

The MC87S was equipped with the Toyota 3S-GTM 2.1-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine and debuted in 1987 500 km Suzuka.

The car achieved its best result in the 1000 km of Fuji, where it managed to finish in seventh position. Unfortunately, the MC87S was uncompetitive against the likes of Porsche and Toyota, finishing on 8th position on Teams championships, with 0 wins.

On the next season, the car was replaced by the MC88S.
