Of which of the Circuit De La Sarthes is your favorite?

The one without the dumbass "Drag Strip"

2009. Smoother line and with the updated penalty system no more corner cutting

'05. With C60 Hybride Race Car. Oh, the memories...

Either, though I prefer the 2009 as it is used often in offline races, so it is more familiar to me than the 2005.

'09 version.

1. It's more up-to-date with the current real-life version.

2. Because driving the '05 version may mess up my driving skills for the 24 Hours of Le Mans A-spec, which takes place on the '09 track.

3. I have only seldom driven the '05 version compared to the '09 version, so I may mess up frequently while doing the '05 version's unique sections.

4. The '09 version has time/weather change capability.

I personally like the 09 version better myself. But running this car on the 05 track is QUITE an experience. That had to be pure ecstasy for the driver in real life.

That car is phenomenal.

Why dont you do a poll?
Did they fix the corner cutting at 2009? If they did thats my choice :)

The '09 avec chicane et time and météo. I usually set the time either early morning around 7am (real time advance, 25% Weather) or later in the evening around 7pm when the sun shines into your eyes as you head down towards Indianapolis. When I race I keep the weather at 50% because as we all know it always rains at Le Mans (2010 being an exception). I can't imagine going back to racing at La Sarthe without time and weather cycle.

2005 ! Its the real one. :p
Stupid safety bullsh... . Asfalt in the corners and Stupid chicanes.
Grass next to the track is the way god intended it.

just like Monza was destroyed with chicanes, just couse some died for crashing at topspeed...

Whats next ? every piece of track where u can hit 200Kmh a chicane ? PFFFFFFFFFFFF

Yes, they did... it's fantastic now. Go wide and hit too much of a curb brick now and you're penalized. Exit from Porsche curves is very sensitive. I dare you to try jumping the last chicane, lol.

2.0 fixed this

2009. It has weather and night racing, and I have some good endurance online racing memories there.

Whats the difference between the two? I always use 09 dont think Ive ever used 05

09 is for boys, 05 is for man, thats the diference..

Less tarmac, more dirt and grass. It's less pretty but less corner cutting as well. Good to use in online races with stupid people.

you must use 09 and i heard your banned from Spa cause your not man enough for it

Yeah and God intended for racing drivers to die from horrible injuries from a small mistake...PFFFFFFF....

Look, I'd rather have large chicanes with drivers living, than a full on straight with drivers dying. Those large asphalt runoffs allow them to escape and get back into the race. What would you have? A DNF, or the car getting back and competing again?

In fact a lot of drivers today are happy that the chicanes were added. Andy Wallace, the Jaguar driver who blasted through the straights doing 230+ mph was happy they were added. Besides, today's LMP cars are getting the same lap times, or even faster lap times, with chicanes as the Group C cars did without chicanes.

Furthermore, chicanes add more complexity to car reliability and driving skill.

Circuit De La Sarthe is still a dangerous circuit.

I always find it odd when someone starts a thread asking for a preference but then fails to include their own.
