Can anyone out there let me know what a best lap time on Sarthe 2009 should be...? Track settings: penalties on, dry weather. LM Race Cars only please. I ran a 3:22.xxx on-line last night with ABS = 1, all other aids off. I would really like to know if I am in the ball park, or need more work?

Any limitations? Hp? Weight? Pp?

I was in an online sarthe room today and we were running '35 - '40 times on softs with tyre wear on. Room was limited to 1150kg and 552hp.

Nothing special though, very average times.

EDIT: Oh sorry, you're asking for LM car times. I first didn't see it.

Any LM Race Cars, any tunes. List as many as you like. Just trying to get a benchmark... I ran this with my BMW V12 ’99 – PP 705, soft tires.

any out there using:
Bentley Speed 8 '03
Audi R10 TDI '06
Mercedes Benz Sauber C9 '89
Mazda 787B '91
Toyota GT-One '99
Jaguar XJR-9 '88
Peugeut 908 HDI FAP '10
Audi R8 (Team Playstation) '09
Audi R8 (Playstation Team Oreca) '05
Pescarolo C60 Hybrid - Judd '05
BMW V12 '99
Nissan R92CP '92
Toyota Minolta 88C-V '89
All of these cars are still a work in progress for me. Best lap times on any of these would be a big help.

Peugeot 908 HDI FAPPING FOR LIFE Team Oreca:
TCS: Off
ASM: Off
Driving Line: Off
SRF: Off
AS: Off
ABS: Off
HUD: Off

What I remeber when I ran the car 2 years ago on Sarthe:
-735 HP (Or whatever the HP was when fully broken in)
-Racing Softs
-Max Downforce
-Custom Suspension
-Used a DFGT
-Highest speed I achieved was 227 MPH (I think it was; all I know was that it was somewhere over 210 and near 230)
-Offline Physics

I have yet to run my 908 on the standard track (only on Sarthe 2009 - No Chicane). I really enjoy driving the 908 on this track. Current tune achieves 243 mph on the strait. Best lap with this car is 3:00.xxx so far. Not great, I know, but still working on it. Thanks for the post. Cheers!

Appreciate the heads up.
Fantastic info! I am looking forward to the day I have some decent tunes in my garage to run it (still a work in progress). I am new to GT5 – only 4 months. The tuning of these cars has been a huge surprise, but a positive one. Looking forward to when I can put on my big boy pants… Cheers!
