Sarthe bug?

I have had this problem 3 times now and was wondering if I am the only one affected by it.

Here goes, On the 90 degree right hander at the end of the Mulsanne my driver goes in to the gravel and proceeds to sit there for 10 secs, moves out to the road again and drives at 50 MPH until passed by three cars. This only happens on the last lap. I have so far tried to complete this 4 times and my best result is 3rd.

I know this sounds crazy but I'm getting really frustrated with it.

Try to pace down him a few times before the end of the straight. If hes paced up too much he will likely go into the gravel by braking too late from trying too hard. Yes, I have experienced this glitch thing too. Maybe its a penalty? I don't see why this would happen considering the gravel itself is a pretty big penalty. Its probably just a bug.
 
Pace him down until hes cold and should take it correctly.

Ive gone off on that turn too and my Bob then just dawdles along at 50mph letting everyone go by. So frustrating!
 
I,ve had the same problem a few times, even when Bob was in the blue band cruising. Whats stopping him steering back onto the asphalt and getting back up to speed?

This specific thing also happened to me just now, but at Spa.
 
What car are you using and what levels are your drivers?
 
It's happened to me, I think Bob has dropped something mid corner and has to pick it up before setting off again.
 
I've had the same thing happen to me... Then again, I've also seen it happen to the other drivers in the race, sometimes 2 or 3 cars all at once.
 
I think he has trouble getting the power to the road.
As you say it's the last lap so tires are worn.
Add a little grevel and you'll have a lot of wheel spin.
 
Same here, he drives into the gravel and penalizes himself by sitting there for a few seconds. Pretty frustrating.
 
It happened to me only once (out of 6-7 races) when I was pushing my lvl 23 Bob to take over an opponent at that specific turn. But every time I saw one of my Bobs going to play in a sand box, he always acted the same, letting pass all the other AIs and taking 4-5 sec to find the throttle.
 
It happen to me as well when the tire worn and keep pushing my bob too hard when the strength and mental bar are empty.

I think he is a "responsible driver", same with my Bob.
He will wait for all traffic to pass by before get back to the track.
What the??
