I'm sorry to hear that. You still can be overtook in by OCR_BOOST and OCR_JTONIAL for driver's standings if they shows up. I'm assuming you're going on a summer vacation.I will not be present for the last race.
Thank you for hosting another year of racing!!!!
I had enough of Sarthe last night to last me until next year.I'm sorry to hear that. You still can be overtook in by OCR_BOOST and OCR_JTONIAL for driver's standings if they shows up. I'm assuming you're going on a summer vacation.
Yeah when I saw you pass the pit before the rain started. I know that it wouldn't end well. You not to check the radar. I always keep an eye on when it get cloudy.I had enough of Sarthe last night to last me until next year.
Don't get yourself into trouble for us but, do come race if it works out for you. After this we kind of go into a summer break. Though I might experiment with running casual lobbies or special events when available. I usually run short run league late summer fall.Last race is on my wife's birthday, so still pending if I make the race. I had a great time racing with you all and hope to continue.
I was watching the radar, I was due to pit, thats why I slowed down and ran an extra lap before coming in, I wasn't about to put rain tires on before it started raining, I have been burned doing that before. I was just in the wrong place at the perfectly wrong time.Yeah when I saw you pass the pit before the rain started. I know that it wouldn't end well. You not to check the radar. You weren't that far ahead me that lap. It would have definitely been a gamble but, with a wall of water and aggressive increasing intensity bans. I probably would have pit for inters in your shoes. And pit again if I have too. The track is long and so are Pit stops at Sarthe are long. I pit for inters in a drizzle that lap and I came out to an already wet race track.I was watching the radar, I was due to pit, thats why I slowed down and ran an extra lap before coming in, I wasn't about to put rain tires on before it started raining, I have been burned doing that before. Apparently my setup was terrible in traffic.Hindsight is always a perfect 20/20.
It didn't start raining on me almost until Muslane straight.
What happened to you on the last couple of laps that I was able to close the gap between us to so little?
Because of the rain coming I went to FM6, I .7 tenths of a lap of fuel starting g that lap that I was supposed to pit on. That's what slowed me down the lap when rain started.Apparently my setup was terrible in traffic.
It's why I dropped so much at the start too.
Would just plow if I was near anyone front and back.
I did want to run with less understeer but, the car was unstable through the High-Speed kink. The setup I chose it was too unstable to run softs. That's why still took mediums for that half stint at the end.
Also I crashed on laps 27. I got too greedy on a drying. And enter the High-Speed right-hand before Indianapolis with to much speed. End up out in the wet portion. Spin and ended up entering Indianapolis backwards. And slammed backwards into the wall. This cost my an easy 5th place later.
Also now that I think what happen to you where you were running slow. Did you miss the pit and had to lump around on fumes?
Guess I can't complain too much. I would have been out in real life. The crash would have destroyed the rear of the car. And I not about human inside condition. You touched the wet curbing I'm guessing. Easy to run tertre rouge wide.I also had a spin after changing back for slicks, went wide coming out of tertre rouge and the car rotated on the wet, I lost count of how many full revolutions it made. I nearly avoided damage but it eventually backed into the wall.
I certainly benefited from others having worse misfortune I think, but I also was double stinting mediums and I think this helped me come out ahead a few times during pit cycles. I am not the quickest driver anyways so I was finding not much lap time loss with the mediums and they felt good until the last lap or two of the second stint.
Had a huge wreck early on at the kink, drafting with Josa and I found out the rear was very loose in the kink, into the wall at 230Guess I can't complain too much. I would have been out in real life. Josa wasn't in this race. Yeah I had similar problems with the kink in practice. It's why had to setup the car with more understeer than I wanted.Had a huge wreck early on at the kink, drafting with Josa and I found out the rear was very loose in the kink, into the wall at 230
