Saturday Sprint Kart Series

Saturday 8am PST/ 11am EST / 4pm GMT / 5pm CET
February 4th, February 11th, February 25th

I'm a novice with the karting, so basically all skill levels are welcome, but particularly beginners.

1 hour event duration approximately; 3 weeks in a row
3 races approx. 10-15 minutes a piece per week
approx 10 minutes qualifying before 1st race
reverse grid order for races 2 & 3
approx. 3 minute breaks between races

Events will be accumulated points. But not necessary to commit to all events.

Rules: GTP OLR

Interest sign-up: GTP name / PSN name

aceboy127 / aceboy127

VOTE: GT Racing Kart 100 only OR DLC karts?
VOTE: DLC Kart Space tracks OR No DLC tracks?
SUGGEST: points schedule

I would be all for this if it was not on Saturday, because I usually work at noon, but I will attempt to come if this goes ahead.

hey, if there's another time, suggest it. Though I'd rather weekends (Friday evening through Sunday evening), because I can't commit to anything more during the week regularly.

I was going to sign up for the other kart series, but it's at the same time that's good for the vcrc peoples. So I was hoping to make some kind of alternate, if anyone was interested.

Actually based on my work schedule this could work, because I believe I have the next few Saturdays off. I will go ahead and make it an official sign up.

Nifty!
BTW - if you need to push it earlier, we could do that? Just not 6am EST. ;)

I haven't really thought about tracks much yet.
But if possible, I'd like the try the Kart Space tracks.
And I like Rome in karts a lot.
And of course I'd want to throw in that Owensracing Baby Oval that's always a fun one.

Otherwise, I'm taking suggestions. There's 9 races in all. And even with the reverses of the Kart Space tracks, we'd need at least 3 more tracks than that to choose, preferably 4, since I don't want to do all 4.
I don't know which are the most popular, as I'll put a kart on just about anything if given the chance.

Honestly if I do not have to work I might sleep in and miss it, because I am a heavy sleeper. Basically the current time should be fine, unless you would rather do high noon.
Definitely Kart Space and maybe Autumn Ring mini or Tsukuba.

If this get's going I'm in Jay_B_II/Jay2DaB329

Yep, we're go for Saturday!
Look forward to seeing you on track! :D

And I know you have the DLC Karts, because I see the Mazda MX5 TC in your sig! ;)
Do you have the Kart Space tracks?

Yes I have all of the DLC stuff. I'll have to miss out this Saturday though, I have to work. Now that I think about it I might not be able to make it for the next Saturday either, have to take my car in for service, taking it at 8am though so I should be done by then.

The RKL 125cc is pretty much the same time is this, I don't know if there's a lot of room, or you don't want to use the 125s, just a heads up. 👍

It's always been on Saturdays, I'll go read it maybe it changed.

Edit: sorry it is Sundays, you were right, and good luck with the series!
