I most always win a race with my Sauber. Well the pass couple of days could not win anything was like 5th or less in the pack. i starting checking my setting and power and changing oil again and again but nothing helped. To get my horse power back I had to do a motor rebuild and then there it was. It is just a little over 5,000 miles on the car and this is the SECOND time I have had to do this. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening???:dunce:

Perhaps it's something else other than power?

Perhaps since it's a higher performance engine, things get worn down more quickly. The engine in a Renault Clio will last a lot longer than the engine in a race car. In a lot of motorsports the engines are disposable.

You might be getting numb to the car, falling into a groove that obviously isn't as good as your peak. I often change to a comparable car (easy when I have all of the Group C and LMP race cars) to keep me "loose" and ready for anything that may come. This is precisely why I don't grind either, it's numbing.

WOW, just throw them away...crazy:crazy:

Is this online of offline?

Offline, maybe you have to start redoing your settings. Start testing on the track that you're losing on.

Online, perhaps your online foes are quite talented...

if a turbo is installed the lack of power from mileage dont change anything.
maybe wrong tires, otherwise i dont know... but the mileage is it not

Well some manufacturers will keep the engines to put in museums and things, and might be used for research and development.

Like what?

Usually I have the same situations with nearly every car, and most of them are resolved from different driving style, different settings, etc.
