Hello everybody. I'm salman and im just gonna introduce myself a little. I live in Bahrain (neighboring country of Saudi Arabia) and I just wanted to know if the members if gtplanet were interested in Saudi drift. For those of you who don't know what Saudi drift is, it is basically a person driving on a long wide road pulling the hand brake from side to side until they eventually lose speed, then at the end they finish it off with 360's

I have seen a lot of videos on YouTube of people doing saudi drifts and I tried copying them in GT5. There are also many people in gt5 that make online lobbies especially for saudi drift (they are mostly Saudi) and these lobbies are a lot of fun. But, the only problem is that not a lot of people from the western world know about this kind of drifting.

I just wanted to know if there was anyone else that was willing to raise the awareness of Saudi drift in gt5 and have some silly fun in FF cars on the top gear test track.

We know about it, its just normal drifting is more popular. And it will be awfully hard to influence people who drift FR's into switching to FF's and feint all day. Saudi Drift will more than likely only be popular in Saudi.

I've seen Saudi rooms open but I thought that meant only Saudi Arabian people could join

Most of the people who join Saudi drift rooms usually drift FR cars. But I think that FF straight line drifts are ALOT of fun.

Saudi Drift...
In my country is called as "fishtailing" (99,9% of the cars here are FF). I guess Saudi Drift is nice when they try kill themselves in crowded highways doing several spins while some crazy guy in white hat hanging himself with half of his body outside of the window is trying to shock the society, and when there is barrel rolls too... killing someone.

But since this dangerous nature cant be replied on GT5, i dont see many reason to stay on a endless straight only fishtailing. I love corners, specialy when it comes one after another.

The main focus. No need for all of that info lol..

On the other hand, I thought "Saudi drifting" on GT4 was interesting, though I have no interest in doing it myself. Haven't seen anyone pull it off on GT5 yet.
