Welcome to Savage Motorsports! After playing this game for a year I have really enjoyed tuning cars, so I figured I would finally open my very own tuning thread. Feel free to test my cars out and tell me what you think about them. I am open to any suggestions on how to make these cars even faster. I will be doing a lot of work this week to get as many tunes posted as possible and get it all organized.

Here at Savage Motorsports you will find two types of tunes, sport tunes and race tunes. Sport tunes are done on sports tires and race tunes are done on racing tires. You will also notice that not too many cars are "fully tuned" meaning they have the max horsepower and minimum weight. I do this because not too many cars were designed to have more than double their stock horsepower.

Notes: The test track was Deep Forest Raceway. With all the parts installed my first lap was a mid 1:27. After tuning I was able to turn out a 1:25.122. For larger tracks you will need to adjust the transmission. I kept this car naturally aspirated because it already has enough wheelspin exiting cornes.

November 29, 2011 Update: Thanks to some feedback from ImprezaAddict I made a few changes to the suspension, lsd, and transmission. After making the changes I was able to run a 1:23.764 on Deep Forest Raceway. Thats is 1.358 seconds faster than my previous fastest lap.

Sir I'm afraid I'm going to have to open a lawsuit against you for using most of my gtp name.:sly:

First, thumbs up for having your first tune Premium. Makes it much easier to be able to drive it. I bought the car and will give it some laps around Deep Forest.

Two suggestions before the review:
- Also include kph in the "Top Speed" part of the transmission settings
- Maybe try spending a little time with gear ratios to eliminate wheelspin, or to optimize the car's power

Review:

I took it to Deep Forest and after 4 laps I pulled a 1:24.794. The car's braking is pretty good, although obviously there's total understeer when trying to change direction while braking. Letting go of the brake and turning the wheel immediately will still cause understeer, but when the tires gain traction the car becomes a little grip beast and has pretty solid cornering. Acceleration is alright, but longer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears would help get rid of the wheelspin that kills handling in low speed corners. At high speeds, the car is stable and it's not easy to lose control. Top speed is perfectly fine for a track like Deep Forest where there is no chance of really opening it up for extended periods.

Going into the grass and back onto tarmac gives a nice smoke show even in 4th gear. Although, predictably, total understeer. I actually tried losing control of the car and was unsuccessful.

So, basically, this Civic is pretty damn fast for an FF and 275hp. Stable, agile, fun to drive, pretty quick.
It could benefit from gear ratio adjustments, as mentioned earlier though.
9/10.

Nurburgring: 7:41.244
Pretty fast for sub 500PP. Small mistakes here and there too. 👍

Cool let me know what you think, I haven't ran it on the ring yet, but I will soon.

Thanks for the review! I'll play with the transmission a little and try to decrease the understeer.

Edit: Try applying the changes I made, it has a hint of oversteer and is wicked fast on deep forest now.

Notes: This car is fast. I had a difficult time keeping it on the ground on Deep Forest. It is neutral as far as over/understeer goes, but is very stable at high speeds. My fastest lap on Deep Forest was 1:12.917. I feel like my laptime was limited because of how rough Deep Forest is. From now on all car will be tuned on Grand Valley East.

Okay maybe I'm blind but what car is this for again?:D
