Save Data Problem - HELP!!!

I recently tried hacking a car on GT5. But for some reason my game won't load now. "Saving data" just keeps on popping up, and what is super frustrating is that "Gran Turismo 5 The real Driving Simulator" logo comes up, but then it disappears.

The game wants to start but it just won't!
I really need a hand because I don't want to loose all my data.

If you have experienced this let me know what you did!

UPDATE

After all the confusion and frustration, I am reliving that moment when we all experienced setting up the newest best racing game. Yes I am restarting GT5, this will be a learning experience, I will still try to hack and BACK UP MY SAVE DATA which I didn't do, and got myself in this wishy washy situation. Thanks for your advice and help folks. On the road to level 40 again!

I don't hack but I would like to think that you have a backup of a save before you did any hacking? If you have try that save and see if you have the same problem?

Reverse what you changed. That's all I can say if you don't have a backup.
 
Hacking isn't to be discussed here, And that's why I don't break something I don't know how to fix!

Do you have another backup on a memory stick before all this hacking?

Yes I do, but there is no data on it.

The only way out of this is if you can get advice from people that hack the save file but that's not going to be here I afraid. Maybe someone might be able to help you privately?

Do you know where the GT5 game save is on the PS3?
 
After you copy your save to the USB drive, make a folder on your PC desktop called "GT5 Backup", then just drag and drop a copy of the save into that folder. Do this every time so you always have a fresh backup to fall back to. You only need to copy the file that has "xxxxx-GAME" on it. Only takes a few seconds.

An even wiser thing, would be to not state on the Internet that you are a hacker; especially when your PSN ID is in plain sight. ;)

I TRYED TO HACK not a full on hacker, I didnt even hack anything, I failed lol.
 
This might work. Remove the save from PS3 and use the GT5 backup whats there.
