Save File Decreased in Size?

I have just noticed that after the update, my save file has decreased from 3245kb to 2120kb. I remember before update 1.11, my save file used to be around the 2000kb mark.

Did PD just increase the size in 1.11, maybe just to stop the "borrow glitching"?
But then in 2.00, they wanted to reduce loading times?

I do think the expansion of savegame size was for killing glitchers :-)
there was no use to change my 5.5mb file to a 6.5mb file....
