Save game data transfer

Hi guys. Sorry for the noob question but I have hit a blank. I have my launch PS3 and have bought a Slim 250g.

How will I go about copying only my GT5P save game data onto the new PS

The slim has the same user name and login details as the old one.

Help will be greatly appreciated.

Do I have to have any specific folder names? "saved game data" or can I just put it into a PS3 folder and copy it over?

When I bought a 500GB HDD for my FAT PS3 and did a backup of the Hard Drive for the new one I'm thinking that all the saved data (even the "copy protected") was transfered along with everything else. All the demo games and pictures which took some time but if you have any Demo's on you old PS3 this would be much quicker than downloading them again.

All data on the destination PS3 (Slim) will be lost. Best choice, if I were you.

I don't know why you only want to transfer your GT5P data, but using the TRIANGLE and copy it to a USB Flash Drive is needed for that. Check out the Game Save thread for step-by-step instructions.
