It might be because you've exceeded your allocated storage limit. I think it's set to 1Gb by Sony/MS. Try deleting a replay or pictures if you have any and see if that helps.

Nope thats not it.
my savegame folder is only at 10mb

Apparently the game doesn't have permission to write savedata.

Try adding an exception in your antivirus software for the /Documents/Project CARS 2 folder and the game's folder under /Steam/Steamapps/common.

Edit: Are you using BitDefender?
