save progress question

I just completed all races and TT's but my status does not show 100%. could it be that I did not not save the driver's name in the TT's as the same throughout the trials keeping me from the seeing the 100% status. everything is completed. can i re-name the driver file name for the tt's?

name shouldnt matter

just go back through everything, make sure you did all the arcade races on hard, all the rallys and enduros are done, etc
it should work
 
Ahhh.... Let me guess, It says 99%?

You've completed everything and it hasn't moved?

99.9% of the time, you've missed one or two things somewhere. Likely it was a silver in one of the series races, or possibly not finished one of the series races.

It is a known bug in the game, that it stops counting at 99% and only turns 100% when you've finished everything.

I'd go back through the list and double check to make sure you've placed gold in all the TT's, Gold in all the Simulation races, and beaten all of arcade races on Hard.

Let us know what one you missed.

thanks for the quick replies, went back and got gold on one of three non gold finishes to see if the counter moved,still no change in the completion percentage. got all gold in the TT's and the esperante in the garage. the races weren't save under the same name but got the car none the less. checked the arcade status and all were complete. could let this go but I sure would like to see the 100%. sorry if this is not posted in the 100% club but thought this might save someone else a heartache.
 
The counter won't move until you gold all 10 TTs. You need to do those (which you just said you finished), win ALL arcade races on hard mode, and gold ALL individual Sim races (not just race series). You don't have to run the all races individually AND as a series, but check through all levels to see if there are any you may have placed in and won the series but NOT gotten first in every race. Then run just those races and win.

For the nth time:

GT3's game percentage counter "sticks" at 99.0% until you have golded everything (except the licences - you only have to pass those). You need a first place finish in every race, every race series, every arcade mode race (although if you win the "Hard" level ones, the easier levels are filled in for you) and every arcade mode Time Trial.

When you've hit 99.0% it will not budge another smegging inch until you've nicked that last gold trophy.

Wow. Looks like I wasted alot of time there... I did every race on all 3 levels.



Edit - Could it be possible that the 3 machine tests account for part of the 100%?

it was the (2) silvers in the formula race preventing me from the 100%. during the usual series and races it seemed each race was counted as 20% of the the progress meter, i figured with the 2 races to be re-run it should have read 99.4%, giving credit for the professional completion as well. So I took the opportunity to "tune"(F/094s) and "hone" my driving skills. Won each race with an 18s. lead; eventhogh the car was rated well under 800hp. due to previous series use.

now for GT4!!!!!!!
