Saved data gone plz help

So i turn on my gt5, i got an update msg , the file was about 4150 kb , then it installed , i was ask to sign in to the gt network , i got an error msg , then the game started up and all my data is gone. i come out of the game , went to the "saved data utility " and i can see my data, but its telling me sumthing about a 1 year package and a 3 month package, can some one explain how and what this is. and how do i get back my data
 
you dont, and it has been discussed more times than the bible has been read. your best bet would have been to back up your save data on a flashdrive. the package thing you see is for a premium membership to the PSN. All the same welcome to :gtplanet:. Also, the mods will tell you to search before you post. It will help keep them off your back.
 
Did you have Playstation plus and it expired, about the same time your data was lost? If so, yes you may be able to get your data back from the online backup, if not no.. Sorry..
 
You might want to read the AUP regarding the use of text language if you want to keep the mods off your back as well.

With no back-up you ar most likely S.O.L.

I'm not sure about the PS+ (if you had it) as to why you are seeing the saved game data
 
I bought PS+ and the main selling point was automatic back up to PSN computers and retrieval of that data.

I recently had my PS3, PSP, and Flash drives stolen. Is there a way that my last save will be on PSN, or do I have to start from scratch?
 
If you have PSN+ (a paid PSN service) and you stored your files there, you can retrieve them from there. If not, you can't.
 
Would I have needed to have the save on PS+ while a member before it was stolen, or would getting PS+ with the PS3 work too?

The data only gets saved on the server once you buy the service. If you didn't purchased the PS+ service before, then you will find nothing there other than your currently save data.
