Okay. If this is how it works I can only say it's the worst implementation for saved races. :yuck:👎

Ran approximately 2.5 hours of the 9 hour Tsukaba race. Pulled in to pit and hit the Suspend button and exited game, expecting some facility for re-entering the race at a later date. Logged into PSN this evening and Launched GT5. After some loading time got a prompt to continue or not.
With some trepidation entered race. Wasn't prepared to actually continue so ran a few laps with the controller instead of the wheel and managed to pull back into pit and re-suspend and quit. Restarted game and hit the O button at the prompt, got a couple more prompts which amount to confirming I wanted to do something else and discovered, to my chagrin, that the race appears discontinued as if I "retired". Checked a few menu options on the My Home page to see if it could be reloaded and didn't find anything obviously helpful. Went back to A-Spec Endurance and checked the 9 hour event for anything there and all it appears to have is to start the race from the beginning. Saved race appears lost at this point.

Does anyone know if this is how it works by design or am I missing something?

You suspended the race, and turned off the console and turned it on later and you were greeted by a message if you wanted to resume the endurance from where you left off, correct? So when you hit circle, which probably said "cancel" or something like that, that means you left the race. You can't suspend an endurance race and do something else. By pressing circle, you quit the race. The save game feature doesn't let you play around in the Arcade Mode or GT Life when you're taking a break from an endurance race.

Well, Humph! Then I can only restate what I said earlier. Worst implementation for saving a race. It should cue the saved race when I return to that event, A-Spec or B. Good grief. Will take this "feature" into account in the future.

Thanks for the response.
