Savefile corrupted, all progress lost.

So today of all days i accidentally deleted my game save when i was attempting to back it up. I lost all my progress (100+ hours) and all of my cars (200+) i worked so hard to acquire...

Seeing that it is christmas, and considering that you guys can duplicate your cars, I was hoping some of you would help me out, and gift me a car.

I wont get back my progress (A=23 & B=17) but if i can at least get back part of my garage, that would be great... I hate, hate, hate asking for handouts, and normally i would NEVER, but i feel as much as i LOVE gran turismo i could not imagine having to redo all of this after so much time and effort was poured into it over these past weeks...

I will be starting a new game on "Live_fr0m_NY" If you are in the christmas mood, please shoot me a request. I appreciate any help. Thanks. :cheers:

I completely forgot about that with all that went down today. My cousin duped me his X1 so the contest is still on.

I guess that shows the type of guy i am... Even after losing everything im still down to help somebody else out. Hopefully theres some other like minded people out there...

i know 200 is quite a bit but try making a list and check it twice ;) and if theres anything on there i got i'll help a GT'r out!
 
This hurts my stomach reading this. Sorry to hear. I will help when I have trade slots open next week. Can I ask why you were deleting your save file when you were backing it up to a memory stick?

Beggars cant be choosers lol... but my favorite cars were the 908, R10, 787B, & FGT...

@Organ_Donor - The "Delete" option is right next to the "Copy" option. Simple mistake that cost me everything...
 
yo I think I already have you as a friend on psn, I'll get you either the 908 or 787B when my slot frees up. I know the pain I accidentally deleted my save file too like 2 weeks ago, fortunately I only maybe put like 10-15 hours on it so the damage wasn't so bad. Anyways I'd love to help you out :)
 
@Madmike - I was just backing up my save at that point, but i did try the dupe trick on my other account...

@Niandra - Thanks man, i know it sucks. I wish i would have been more careful, i was kind of rushing it...

I know beggers can`t be choosers but im sure the cars you had you liked, if i have specific cars you enjoy ill send them. I dont wanna send you hondas if you hate hondas...I think it would be fun too, being able to cross stuff of your list and making someone happy...lol so make that list! I dont wanna dupe for nothing!...also it seems i am the only one with out a race car yet....A:20 B:18...so i can`t help ya with those beautys

Great idea, havent been able to check out the new events. I still have my gamestop nascar thankfully.

Lol it is, i was thinking whilst i was bacing my save up.. Imagine i'd just clicked delete by mistake...

its the kind of thing that i would do, just to see if it has an extra confirmation step to it...

Ha Ha, lol sorry but i knew this was bound to happen to someone, glad it werent me, some people would say it serves you rite for cloning, not me tho, i clone, what do you need?
