Saving during Endurance races

Ok guys, I download all the previous updates the other day but have not tried Endurance races yet. My questions are: does the save feature only work for the 24 hour races or does it include the 4 & 9 hour races and do you need to enter the pit in order to save or can you just save at any time during the race?

Any endurance race can be suspended. Only when you enter the pit lane you are given the chance to suspend race.
 
Works on all endurance races

Need to enter pit to suspend the race

(make sure you enter the pit slowly, if you fly in like a madman the game will glitch)
 
Thanks, guys. Cheers for the warning Sean (about entering the pit slowly) I did read that the game could glitch if you go in screaming through the pit lane.
 
Has the bug in Tsukuba been finally fixed? I did read something in the notes but haven't had the heart to try again myself.
