It's not too far-fetched: the car's based on the Grande Punto, right? That car has a 4WD Super 2000 variant. Turbocharge the engine, mod the aero, there's your WRC car.

It looks a bit odd for a road car, but not a bit out of place in that rendering. Yes, it would look completely at home at a WRC event... maybe with Martini or Alitalia paint?

But anyways, when is this car going into production again? Really want to see the actual shot of this car instead of its rendering, maybe I'll change my mind. You know, its almost similar to the Dacia Sandero.... :dopey:
 
I really dont see why the designers think that excessive curves = stylish, sometimes you need a brutal, boxy, no nonsense son of a......of a car, which the original Delta was....this one, not so much....
 
It better not.It looks to "stylish" and big to be in the WRC
 
Well, the 307 CC was in it. If a faily long convertible was entered, I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue. Also, the Octavia was in it too, and that's huuuuuuuge!
