School is starting
time for gt3 to come to an end
Once in every gt3 hardcore fans life there comes a time that he must say goodbye. Unfourtantly many of are times are common to a hult if not a stop now as school starts time to change our goals. New goals for me chicks and grades. For those of you who get good grades easy can just go to hell cuz i have to work myt ass off to get them. So for me starting my 1st year of highschool for a second time is going to suck as i have to put down the controller and pack the games away in their cases. So anyways
peace out :gtp: and all you other users keep on gamin and you all rule at this game as well as many other things better then i would have ever expected when i first came to :gtp: not too long ago.

Take it easy with skool and ****... I didnt do anything whilst I was in highskool... now I DRIVE the skool bus! :P
 
school hasn't stopped me from playing.
isn't going to.
just don't do it every day, or maybe just on the weekends.
don't give it up without a fight, man.
 
No offense or anything, but high school is a breeze. I'm in "AP" classes and manage to do less than 1/2 hour of homework per night. Still have plenty of time to do whatever I want. Sorry for bragging.
 
my AP English teacher made me read 3 books over the summer - one containing the account of a rape of an eight-year-old girl.
i dropped that class, but AP History and Science are pretty easy.

yeah me to, in 24 hours i will be fending off the jackass's known as teachers... who for the most part don't teach me anything
 
my school starts on september 10th. i need to try and get better grades. do you think B's are good enough?
 
dang its nice to be gt hero right now im 22 and school is over i can play whenever im not at work or whenever my daughter is sleeping which still gives me alot of time
 
lucky b4st4rd... its some computer lingo i picked up on, the 4's are actulay "A"'s, figure it out :D
 
Hell I've already started school. I'll never put GT3 away..............well except for when GT4 comes out. :D

It's about finding a Balance. You can still play :gt:? Even if it's just 10mins before bed, a hour or so at the weekend :clock:?

Hmmmmmmmm. There's a connection between the first half of this statement and the second half. I wonder if you are smart enough to see it.

Supraman, good to hear you are willing to work for your grades. Dig in and the hard work will pay off. Even if you don't make A's, you'll learn something else important - how to tackle a job that requires patience and perseverence. GOOD LUCK!
 
Hey Sup! Sorry to hear you'll be cutting short your GT3 playtime, and even more sorry you have to start school! :P

As someone who (hopefully) will never have to go back, I have this to say...

Kicking ass in school is worth it. You'll not only gain respect from others, but more importantly, you'll gain respect for yourself. Think of all the other students as wack-ass drivers in their Demios, and yourself as the guy they need to beat. Maybe no one was ever "cool" (in school) for being really smart, but many "cool" people have been made "cooler" by being smart.

But I also want to encourage you to enjoy what you do while you do it. Sometimes it's unclear why we do some of the things we do, but if this is the biggest sacrifice you'll ever have to make in your lifetime, consider yourself lucky! :)

Have a great drive, and kick ass in school!

i'm already in school.....and all my classes are AP(gay..I didn't sign up for all that work!) Sigh it so much work! but sometimes i see the red case of GT-3 A-Spec and i just got to play it even if its olny for 5 mins :)
 
Yeah im sure glad I dont goto skool anymore and drive the skoolbus now :lol:
 
There's an old theory I was told in college. Oddly enough, by the head of the Architecture department.

The "A" Students come back to teach, The "B" Students graduate and go to work for the "C" students.

Not everything is about grades. In High School, unfotunately it is most times about grades. A B grade is great, if you're a member of the Band, on a sports team, and on the yearbook staff.

Remember Bill Gates was a nerd in High School. Well he still is, just worth more money.

Sorry to hear that you've got to put GT3 away. Wake up an hour early, and get some racing in. I roll out of bed at 5 am to get ready for work, surely you could for GT3 and school.

i started school 3 weeks ago and i have loads of time to play GT3 at least 3 hours of play after school, and i can spend more than 2 hours on the internet in the same night, and i havemy prelims comin up soon so maybe i should hit the books for a while. BUT that does not mean i am gonna stop posting on the forum.
