Various Stuff & Original Post before I added the index

Thought it was about time I put some of my better efforts on public display.

No real order to them, but any comments or feedback would be good.

Motorsport

In the wet

Sideways

Small Cars

Others

Some of the shots above have had a lot of work done in Photoshop, others just B/C and a resize.

More to follow as and when I get the time to sort them out.

Nice to see you joining us! I like the last shot, it's kind of dramatic. 👍

Visit my gallery (and please leave a comment) when you have time

The GTO was almost spot-on in composition when I took it, but needed quite a bit of clean up in PS, lots of rough edges.

I will be sure to have a good look around your gallery & thanks for the feedback

The "posing" Motul and the sliding GT are top notch!

The GT is one of my all time favorites, a nice drift that I managed to capture well.

The "posing" Motul had almost no work done to it, just B/C and a crop, another I was really happy with.

and once again thanks to both of you for the feedback.

Nice to see you putting your stuff on display Scaff :). I especially like the first Motul Z shot and the Galant, and the second NSX shot looks good, though I had no idea it looks like it's on stilts on the stock suspension ;)

I just recently updated, and saw yours. Hope to see it growing 👍

Thanks, glad you like them.

The NSX on stilts, LOL :). It does look a bit like that, oh well lots of weight transfer and a strange angle will do that.

I also like the first Motul shot very much. But it's the Daihatsu pic that I find the most impressive.

Thanks, the Midget does look quite cool. I got very lucky with that one, I was going for a top down shot and when I got the building reflected so well in the windscreen it was a total accident.

Minimal work on that one, its one I've been thinking about cleaning up in PS, as the textures on the roof are a bit off.

I love the little Fiat, that looks so right. And the sliding NSX, and the AZ-1, and the GTO looks neat, and the GT is a great shot... I'd better shut up...

You have a lot of great pics. These three are my favorites. You should post some more soon. 👍

And if you could, please drop by my gallery and leave some feedback. :)

I vote for the Cizeta as my favorite. And since I'm the only one voting, the Cizeta is my favorite. Has a very cool feeling to it, looks illegal...

Great feedback, thanks guys.

My excuse is that its been my birthday (35 - damn half way dead), so I've been a llittle busy.

Anyway an update, some from a recent shoot with an R34 Nur in Hong Kong and a few more of my old shots I dug out.

Again, any and all feedback would be appreciated.

you aint so old, but happy birthday(delayed). I'm glad that you updated, i think my favorites would be the superchicken, the corvette and the second skyline pic. They just look intimidating if ya know what i mean. Keep it up man :) 👍

Heh, I thought Imageshack had played some bizarre trick on you with the Teggie shot, until I realized it was supposed to be that way. Definitely something different I haven't seen here 👍. I love the positive effects cropping can have on images, but I'm so obsessed with how my gallery looks that I've stuck to my templates for image size. I must be obsessive-compulsive or something, I have too many templates :D

I like how you cropped the first Skyline shot, and I love the Grand Sport in New York (I think it's NYC, anyways). The TVR is a misleading shot; it definitely benefits most from a full-view.

I know just what you mean about those shots, just the look I was going for, glad you liked them.

The Integra shot is one of my most 'photoshoped' pictures (the Honda Duelnote being the most), but I realy like the way it came out.

Cropping has a bit impact on shots for me, the standard ratio does'nt look right for a lot of hsot, and it can be difficult to see the shot you want in an original on the TV screen. I use a lot of magazine shots for ideas, particularly Evo (UK mag).

It is New York with the Grand Sports, and it is funny how the 'thumbnails' can make a good shot look poor, or the other way around.

Scaff good set of pics, i particulaly like these,

I like the reflections on the Superbird, makes me wish we could have airbrush art on our cars...

Once again, thanks for the feedback.

As I tend to be very critical of my own work, its nice to get other peoples opinions on my work. It also helps me to know what works and what doesn't work.

I'm glad the Integra shot is being so well recieved, as I put a lot of work into that one.

Heres a small number of shots taken for this weeks PMC, hope you all like:

Blitz Skyline

All shots have only have B/C, resize and crop.

LOVING the 3rd Blitz thumbnail. I like the green drifting NSX too somehow:tup: And the R34 is very very nice too:tup::)

Keep it going m8:tup::sly:

wow, that is a real captivating car, i have a 2 part update of it in the latter part of my gallery if you want to check it out. I took a lot of action pics of it, however you took a lot of just great shots pointing out the good stuff on it. BTW, when you resize, you might want to go bigger, Or make all thumbnails of the the big size, some of your scaled down pics look too blocky.

The first and the fourth one look very good. Although I don't like that car personally, you make it look good (especially against that background) and the last one is also nice. 👍

It's not one of my favorites either, but I wanted to give this weeks PMC a go adn just thought the car realy suited the theme.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. I currentky working on a few of the older rally cars and the road versions of them. Expect to see some Alpine 110, Pug 205 and a few others in the next few days.

I've finaly got around to starting a series on Rally derived road cars, as quite a few of my favorites feature in GT4, so here are the first two.

Peugeot 205 Turbo 16

Alpine A110

Hope you like some of them, as always, any and all feedback would be welcome.

The T16 is a real wolf in sheep's clothing, it looks good too! The sixth one is great. 👍
