well guys this is it....last week. there are a few changes, so pay attention...everyone with a weight penalty...drop it...no REWARDS weight this week....to thos of you that are outside of the top 5 in points...add one mod to your car weather it be a wing for downforce, or suspension, or a HP mod, HP mods are limited to 20 HP max increase, no tire change...must keep the same tires, but choose one mod, and get with it....

if this goes over like a turd in a punch bowl, im sorry...but hey who the hell wants to finish the season driving a car that is no fun, with 200 KG's extra weight.

Speaking as someoone who is well outside the top five in points, I agree with q_b. I'd rather have it play out the right way for the rest of the season, even if there are a few shortcomings, than have it get screwed up by throwing extra mods on. I know I was the one who queried this at the beginning of Round 9, but I really do have to agree that we should leave it.

why the change in rules for the last round. keep it the way it was. i dont even know what to say. i vote we stay the same rules.

i hate to say this but... yourloacal, this has been the worst hosting of any serise ever to come to olr. almost from day one there has been problems with getting stuff posted in time. and now you want to change stuff around for the last race?? WTF MAN!!! even those this is the worst hosting i have ever seen and its been proably one of my favorite serise in the olr community. people are not complaining that the cars are not fun, were complaining cause you dont show up.

just leave the last race aloun and you still might be able to walk away from this remembered for haveing a great challenge idea that worked.

I think you need to cut yourlocalgod some slack...

...but i do think, for all my OLR noobieness, that the rules should stay the same.

Rules stay the same, if anything, the leading (dominant) cars should have restrictor plates added (Hp parts removed).

A suggestion for adminning a series, is that sometimes you find yourself fighting to kepe up with the demand of the drivers and participants, and you're better off to just collect the results instead of putting effort into racing. I've had to do that twice in the past, where I hosted bt dropped out because I only had enough time to collect results and answer questions.

Before we jump the gun and change anything, lets see the Round 9 results, even if it means pushing Round 10 and 11 back a week as well.

So far I have results from M31, The Cracker, and bobman, MissingLink, quattro_bro, Luxy, andbhawk776. And of course myself.

I'm really busy ATM but if someone can chase down any other people not listed above, I'll get the results posted. I don't know where this thread resides at the other forum, so posting there would be a big help. YLG is missing or unavailable (though it seems he ran the race), and I think bleurabbit dropped out based on a comment he made during Round 9's confusion. Does anybody else know who ran in Round 9? If not, it's a small field.

If everybody wants, I'll just take over for the remaining 2 rounds and we'll do 10-lap Track Meets at Autumn Ring and Laguna Seca, just like we've done everywhere else. The over-200kg REWARDS cars will have any reduction taken off of their theoretical over-200 ballast weight rather than the 200kg max, so they will not drop weight as quickly as they might otherwise. Everybody can report times to me.

Consensus?

Not exactly what I was looking to do with the BC5 Competition about to go live and a very busy work schedule, but I don't want to let this series die so close to the end.
