Gonna love the pics coming up in this thread. Might I give an idea, the Nurburgring always looks beautiful. Or anywhere with a really great background. Enough with the city streets, get outside!!!!

ENTRY CHANGED
See Post 35

Well here is my entry, it was an unsually tough call for me this week. With the no rules I have a few HDR shots that would look nice here but they were shot in the city which has been a popular subject recently.
I've actually done little editing to this shot and I'm quite pleased with the location, it's not somewhere people tend to go for comps.

SweetshopUnion, your shot looks awesome.. I like the sunset very much.. And the atmosphere is just great! 👍 Well done!

I'm going mad for this one, got to have a bit of fun! :D

^^ Nice! I like the Navy Seals perspective you've gone for there pal! The sky looks great too, very nicely blended! 👍

now that's what i'm talking about! that, in my view haven't ever seen before in the location. i'm excited to pull off real shots like that since i finally got a hold of my gradient filter for my lens today. so excited! but yours, the colours and the tones are well matched. the skies are so good as well, with the blue graduated ever so gently to blend in with the sun's light. any thoughts on cleaning up the rough water textures? i did a shot level down the water like that
before, and i found that the textures on that part are really harsh. worse, i was stuck with corel pro at the time. how long did that take ?

The sky had some ugly abnoxious rays from the sun, so I put a massive gaussian blur on it. That's why it looks a little foggy around the edges. I did absolutely nothing to the water except for an average gaussian blur, then noise on the whole picture. The reason I didn't do anything on the water is because I'm too much of a noob, and I don't know how to clean the water without messing it up.

FINAL ENTRY

It's been raining....

It's not perfect, but I'm happy with it. It looks more artistic than anything
