Thats what I thought, just a pity the pic doesn't live up to its potential. I know I can do better. It was a bit of an experimental picture though, so I have no regrets. And Mog, never got around to it, but that is one cracking picture you have taken. My favourite so far!
 
Very very nice entry, Nuno :) The scenery is great with that blue sky and the clouds 👍.. Also, I like the trees, they seem to be at the right place.. They give the shot the final touch :) ..
 
NTX: I had that EXACT idea! I tried for over and hour to get just the right angle, as you did! Great work, love every pixel!

MAN, this is gonna be rough to judge!

As for me, i tried the Suzuka ferris wheel, but the lighting was off, so i went back to my old partner in crime, the Ring. As always, I wasn't let down:

I had so many good ideas for this, but the camera angles just wouldn't cooperate. I Hope GT5 goes for a Forza styled camera mode, where you can place the camera anywhere.
 
I like your entry, tupacrulez.. Especially because of all those great shadows showing on the asphalt 👍 The angle is well chosen, too :) Also, there's a contrst between the left and right side.. On the left, there's only shadows and on the right, there's sunshine and the grass shows up better.. ;)
 
I have a similar idea; but we'll see if i can pull it off this week. I'm not sure :eek:

yeah, that is the one thing I'll praise FM2 for, an independent camera. it was such a great idea.

S-Line, thanks for the kind words. I really lucked out on it. the run to Flugplatz from hocheichen (IIRC, that's the corner complex's name) never occured to me as a good palce until i saw the shadow on the track. I really wanted to show the whole "light and dark" on the Ring. the road unevenness looks good too. It was really a lucky shot that i fell in love with.

You have to, your entry isn't valid.

Can't you take some or have one without any cars in a real circuit or another with race cars in a real circuit?

I know that the car is not the main focus, and not obligatory, but, if it has to have any, only race cars are allowed.
 
my chances of making this comp, and all the other ones, are pretty much slim to none right now. just haven't had the time to get a shot from gt4. been busy with the real life stuff and my DA account.
 
mmm that looks sweet. i was wondering, does the grand canyon rallye track count ?
