I had my final exam yesterday so I’ve officially finished High School and I never have to go back on school property again. :)

Anyway, today I put all my school stuff into a pile, and I really have alot of crap … It’s kinda suprising how much junk has built up over the past couple of years.

Here’s a photo of my pile, any suggestions on how I should dispose of it? I was thinking a fire, but it’s a little cliché…

Damn you man. My exam finishes tomorrow with Physics!

I was gonna burn my notes too :indiff:

Lets see Blakes happy face as he is about to put a lighter on his school stuff. *nudge nudge*

I was happy the day I finished school too. :D

Then the next day I had to find a job and felt

Man, you guys really abhor education don't you? Hopefully you will learn what a precious and valuable gift it is when you're older...

Can't we be happy we've achieved something?

If I really abhorred it, I would have left school 3 years ago. But I decided to go the distance, and recieve a Higher School Certificate. Doesn't that give me the right to do what I please to do to?

The stress that final years get is unreal, you should know. It's a MASSIVE weight off your shoulders once you finish these exams.

Good feeling ain't it?
Great feeling! :D

No, I realise how valuable an education is and I’m glad I’ve had (and will continue to to have) one. It’s the environment I hate, high school sucks.

With that being said, Don't destroy anything intelligent or any notes and stuff. Always keep what you create of your own mind and knowledge. Know what I mean?

Anyway, to hell with the rest of the crap. I taped my middle school worksheet and useless crap to a bunch of fireworks and exploded them over our lake. It's cool to see huge bottle rockets with school crap attached to them blow up while submerged beneath the water.

You can do that, or you can just soak them in something flammable and go from there.

Get a tree shredder, park it in the school parking lot, and feed it all through the blades. The school gave it all to you, they can take it back.

Ha! Reminds me of locker cleanout day one year in middle school. Everybody was just throwing stuff out on the floor. It was a fantastic feeling of liberation.
And I picked up 5 free binders. :D

I'd burn it. It may be cliché, as you said, but I like fire.

Oh man, I can't wait till I finish college. 4 more school days, then a week study leave then my 3 NCEA exams. Then I'm free......

Until I start UNITEC next year.....

I wouldn't burn them right away, some of it may come in handy...

... but if you do choose to keep them then I bet you'll last 3 days before destroying them :D

Congrats on passing high school! And believe me, University is infinitley better than high school. The parties, no cliques to put up with, you won't have any classes that are completely irrelevant to what you want to study, you won't have stupid assignements and tests to do every week for every class, and just the whole lifestyle in general is better. Believe me, I've only just realized what a waste the last four years of my life was.

And as for getting rid of your stack of high school papers... flaming catapult. Just find a lake to do it at, and make sure the wind is blowing away from you.

I finish next week, on Wednesday. If you wait Blake, I'll help you dispose of it and some of my work (that I can find, anyway, after two rounds of being kicked out of home), too!

Like Blake said, Anderton. The education is the good part. After the final exam, you have a massive weight lifted off your shoulders, and you get your first taste at real freedom to the real world (until you hit working life). None of my things will come in handy. I'd probably get more frustrated trying to sift through a lot of it to find something I need. Google is always a good resource, anyway.

I'm very glad to leave my school years behind. Far behind. Bring on Wednesday.

Use it all for toilet paper ;)

I still got all my old classbooks, its nice to know that when I was in year 8 I was a smart bugger
:)

I'm done with High School, but yay 4 years of college! :indiff:

If you intend to get a higher degree for something then I recommend keeping it. I disposed of all my high school stuff because I hated the place and then I can't tell you how many times I was trying to remember something and thought, "Hey that's in my notes I took for... Oh wait, nevermind." :indiff:

If you are done with education for good then fire is always cool, but be creative about it. Or if you have access to some liquid nitrogen or equally cold liquid soak them in water then dip them in the cold chemical. Then throw your frozen and fragile notes off a high point on to a hard surface. USE GLOVES!

Or get a group of friends and take a camping trip or have a bonfire field party to celebrate leaving school.

Of course, you could always ignore being destructive and hand it all off to some one a level behind you so that they can benefit from your struggle.

That's quite a good idea.

Haha, that’s why all my study notes were typed and saved on my comp! My school books are pretty useless anyway.

I’m thinking of going halves with someone and buying a small wooden row-boat and towing it out to the middle of a lake, putting all of our notes in it and setting it on fire! :)

the thing I done when I let school being me was to put every papers into a papercutter and I just thrown the cuts into the corridors and in the directors office... That makes a quite mess... Not that fun tho... lol
