Its an often forgotten part of his past that he already has experience in sports and touring car racing, in 1990 & '91 he competed in both.

Personally I would love to see him race in a closed wheel series, and the thought of him in a FWD BTCC car, now that would be interesting to say the least.

I would actually love to see him competeting at the top level of karts. the competetion is just as stiff in karts as it is in F1. after all, it is the world championship they are fighting for. as far as I know, the F1 grid only has one World Karting champion on the grid, Vitantonio Liuzzi. even Lewis Hamilton didn't win a world championship. he is a former World Cup and European Formula A champion, though.

aside from me doing karts, I just like watching a kart race, because you can see every single decision they make. you can watch how they move the weight around, how they prepare for the corners, etc.

that, and they are damn quick!

If theres anything I've learned from the past few years of Melbourne GP's is that Schumacher has a very keen interest in the V8 Supercar Series.

Although, I can't see him racing professionally anywhere else other than F1 ever again.

Family is number one for him now, and I honestly have to say 'good on him'. He played out his contract and now is concentrating on his family life.... unlike a certain JPM... lying about why he missed 2 GP's... and then leaving half way through a season because he was being *****-whipped.
 
orrrrr because Ron Dennis terminated his contract. you know, JPM was part of the winning team in the 2007 24h of Daytona, and he will be racing in NASCAR where he will probably compete in 40+ race this year. so, I don't think it's a case of Corina (sp?) telling him he can't race anymore.

Meaning.... he didn't win it all by himself, which is what you do in F1. Personally, Montoya is past it. (and I doubt he'll win the Nextel Cup)
 
Hey Drift260Z, The CIK World Kart Championship isn't just as hard as F1, it's harder LOL :) I mean even the great Aryton Senna couldn't win it!!!! Terry Fullerton was too good for him :) .

What type of Kart do you race? Reason I ask is that I'm a karter as well in the UK.
