Schwimmwagen race glitch?

Is anyone else seeing this? I haven't done this race yet but have been watching my wife try it a couple times. The problem has nothing to do with the car or tuning it.

She can get to 5th place easily enough, but once she gets there, her displayed position never changes when she passes opponents. She can cross the line in first place, but the game never credits her better than 5th. Have restarted the game, rebooted the ps3, etc. Happened yesterday, and then same thing when she tried again this afternoon.

I will try shortly here under my account and see if it happens to me too...

Are you sure she isn't just lapping the 12th and 11th position cars? Cause you lap them both at the last lap or so. If not, I'm not sure what's going on. Did it on my 4 accounts without any problems.

No glitch. You're just lapping the slower cars at the tail of the field.
