Honestly how can you claim that Fireworks is better to draw stuff in than Flash. Fireworks is predominantly bitmap editing is it not?

I was referring to vector customisation/creation and adaptation, not bitmap, oh and your poll is bias.

No need to stick it in my face or yours but no one cares about this thread.

Fireworks isn't predominantly bitmap editing (at least not MX/2004)... it has about the same number of tools for both bitmap and vector images. I whipped up my avatar in Fireworks in a couple minutes (longest part was finding a good font), but in Flash that would take way too long. In fact, doesn't Macromedia like it when people make their graphics in FW, then import them into Flash?

Flash isn't for designing stuff like that. It is a powerful animation and web application program with enough oodles of strings to make you go bonkers.

The main technicality I am holding you against is you said drawing, I interpreted drawing as like drawing not designing. Pah, I win and you lose.

Um, Illustrator / Photoshop / ImageReady? Flash shouldn't be used to "draw" anything. It's for scripted animation.
