Well it was at Catalunya, the safety car had just been been deployed and I was on my in-lap in 9th place :D I pitted and was behind Perez in 7th after the stop and after they safety car went in my tyres were past it while the others all seemed to be on fresh rubber so I did my best to defend and ended up 9th, not bad for a Lotus 👍

Nice, I scored my first points (7th) for Lotus in Monaco and now the team expects me to finish 12th and qualify 14th! My car is only good for 19th

Same here, I was at Monaco and the weather predictions were as follows:

Practice - Cloud
Qualifying - Heavy Rain
Race - Heavy Rain

I qualified last after having been 15th in the first practice with my engine set to standard, if the weekend had been dry I could have been looking at even more points but I crashed instead

Which team are you driving for mate?

Lotus.

Next race istanbul. I've done 3 full length GP's.
Set difficulty to pro. I lap the others around me but a gap eventually opens up costing me that elusive 18th place.

Next race will be expert. I've decided if I can't get 18th I want to actually try and race for 19th instead of lapping the poor sods.

Kept my suspension settings at 6/6 because of people saying 11/11is a glitch.

Maybe CM have given more adjustability with the settings this year. Last years quick settings were almost spot on and tweaking would only produce minor improvements.

Suspension at 6/6 feels a bit loose and sideways. Maybe 11/11 will make the lotus act like a proper F1 and expert may balance it out.

Still getting to grips with setting my difficulty as you can probably guess.

One other thing.
I thought 18th would come my way by way of retirements. But none in two full length GP's.
Anyone else had AI DNF's.

Turned into a ramble that. Sorry.

Full Distance? I don't think I could last that long

And for the record yes I've had two DNF's both crashing in the wet, one at Malaysia, the other at Monaco 👍

While the FPS issue is really bad, the real game breaker for me is the wet weather AI who are way too fast. It's clearly a bug and means that whenever it's raining I'm the slowest car on track...

Not sure but it seems the AI are using TC in the wet.

Tell me about it, got 4th Place in Valencia in the dry (How the heck I pulled that off I have no idea) and in the wet at Silverstone I finished 19th :ouch:

i scored my first podium at monaco.. 3rd FTW:tup: with my own made setup:)i was so excited About that lol..

ai professional
only abs on all else off:)

What does TC do? Decide how much throttle to use base on traction available with superfast computer calculations.

How does AI work? Decide how much throttle/steer/brake to use base on traction available with superfast computer calculations.

It's the same thing!

Just accept that computer driving is "better" than human in being precise and consistent, But lacks in flexibility and ability to drive over the limit. 👍

and it is perfectly possible (and in fact not hard) to beat the AI in the wet if you can hold your own marbles.
