I have a Orange Mac G3 Laptop from the year 99. i noticed that it has been getting ALOT of stuck and dead pixels. Like when I say it been getting alot I mean about 3 lines in fifteen minutes. it just doesn't seem normal for the pixes to go this quick. Is it normal or is it a virus?

There’s a 0% chance it’s a virus. Your computer’s 9 years old, so you have to expect that the hardware is going to give out soon, if it hasn’t already.

Since the plan was for me to fix the one up or get a refurbised newer G3 laptop, I think I'll just go with getting a new G3. On mine right now it has dead pixels, bad battery, ripped off keys (three year old), no speaker sound and VERY limited space. Someday i might redo it just for fun, but not right now.

:grumpy:

Yeah sounds like a graphics card problem or a screen problem or the cable in between! You should be able to have it fixed at an apple service centre but it might be pricey-r than the laptop is worth. But I would def keep it though, as like a collectors item or something.
