Screwed over save files

Recently, i bought best buy's gt5 xl edition 'coz it only costs $19.99 at the moment. It's region 1 and i didn't realized that it won't load my save file from my region 2 regular gt5. :(

So now, i have to restart everything again. The latest save file i had contains mutlie tickets, cars from other members traded to me, my paint chips i saved over the months, nice sets of gears, etc.

Is th way to use my old save file to this new one?

haha that's the most obvious choice. i think i will just have to sell the region 1 disk since i don't care driving the DLC cars anyway.
 
You could always just buy the dlc from the PS store 💡
