I'm really enjoying the livery editor in GT7, I have done a number of liveries and have gradually been getting them ready to share. The main focus initially will be Chrysler Viper GTS-Rs that competed across various racing series.

First up we have Equipe de France FFSA #57 which took part in the 2001 24 Hours of Le Mans, however retired after just 4 laps.

Next up we have Chamberlain Engineering #55 which took part in the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing 7th in the GT2 class. Chamberlain were the first customers of the GTS-R and by '99 were second only to Team Oreca when racing the type. I do have other liveries from this team waiting to go.

There are others, which I will update this thread with as and when the finer details have been ironed out. Of course they're not exact replicas due to some obvious differences between the GTS from the game and GTS-Rs that raced but I have tried to make them as close as possible.

Amazing work, definetly gonna be getting a second viper to use both of these while doing my daily LeMans races

Thanks, really appreciate it. Just two more for today, both are Chamberlain cars.

First up we have #64 which took part in the 1997 24 Hours of Le Mans and finished 6th in the GT2 class, this car competed in what was the quintessential road car Viper colour layout, blue with white stripes.

Next up we have Chamberlain Engineering #56 which took part in the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans alongside #55 as shown in the previous post, it carried a black with yellow stripe livery and finished 5th in the GT2 class ahead of #55.

Again I have made them as close as I could do with the limits of the car in the game. I have a few more left to fine tune and upload, hopefully another 2 tomorrow.

As a Viper nut I hereby follow this thread! Nice to see the black Chamberlain car. When I was hunting down autoart diecasts of the Vipers that livery was the hardest one to find.
Never knew about that blue one. Could you add a picture of the real car into the posts?

Thanks, appreciate it. I really only came across the blue/white one while researching the others.

Today we're focusing on easily the most famous Viper racing team, Team Oreca.

First up we have #63 which took part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and finished 5th in the GT2 class. It carries the colours of what I always imagine when I think of the normal road GTS-Rs, the white with blue stripes.

Team Oreca #63

Next up we have the iconic #51 car which won the GTS class at the 2000 24 Hours of Le Mans and finished the race 7th overall. I'm sure it has been done to death but something I wanted to do for a bit of completeness.

Again, there should be another two ready to go tomorrow. Not sure what ones they'll be yet but stay tuned.

Two further ones for today and from opposite ends of the racing spectrum.

First up we have Team Taisan Viper GTS-R which competed in the JGTC between 1997-2000.

Team Taisan #55

Next up we have Larbre Competition Viper GTS-R C46 which was the last Viper to finish the 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing 4th in class. It also finished the 1,000kms of Le Mans 3rd in class and 8th overall and also took part in the 24 Hours of Spa, where it retired early due to engine issues - it is in this guise it is represented here.

More to come.

Loving the work man, So many classic Viper Liveries that i love, be it from old Racing videos or from my AUTOart collection, awesome to see them and be able to drive them in GT7

I have two more out the door here, these are actually the latest ones I have done despite having some others still needing some tweaking but sometimes you're just in the zone.

First up we're looking at Force One Festina which took part in the 2003 Spa 24 Hours but did not finish, this isn't perfect but really as good as I could get it given the parameters, these Force One Vipers did carry a good few variations throughout the 2003/2004 seasons.

Force One Festina #5

Next up we have something maybe lesser known. Parr Porsche Specialists motorsport division embarked on a two year association with Hayles Konig Motorsport where they used a pair of Viper GTS-Rs these being GTSR-C14 and GTSR-C28. This one, C14 was raced by Curtis Hayles and Kilian Konig in the GTO class of the 2000 British GT Championship finishing 13th overall in the final standings. The livery here is quite basic but later on these cars did carry some interesting variations on this scheme - maybe they'll appear in the future.

That's all for now, but there will be more soon...

I'm back with another racing Viper GTS-R and a few odds and ends, including my first non Viper on here.

First up we have another Chamberlain Engineering Viper GTS-R, this one representing #56 which took part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1999 finishing third in the LMGTS Class and 14th overall, in the LMGTS Class this car was only beaten by Team Oreca Viper GTS-Rs #51 & #52.

Moving on from that I have two liveries for non-wide Vipers. Firstly I have the classic blue with white stripes, not much else to say about that. Next up is the homologation model of the Viper GTS-R, 100 of these cars were produced in order to meet FIA requirements to allow these cars to compete and all were produced in white with blue stripes - just as the very early Team Oreca cars had raced in. These cars had the same rear wing as well as having different body parts and a front splitter, I didn't include the splitter on the style as it isn't totally accurate for the real car which was a bit more simple than what is offered in the game. I also have omitted the Viper GTS-R banner found on the front as it would require using the windscreen banner option which doesn't really work well with the road car style.

Finally I have something a bit different from the Vipers, a Nissan Skyline Nismo R-Tune, of course there are a number of these in the showcase already but I wanted one without the door decals and so produced my own one. The style comes with standard Skyline plates.

That's all for now, but as ever there is always stuff in the pipeline.

Not a whole lot going on but I am doing some of the colour variations offered on the Viper GTS through the years.

First up is the silver with blue stripes option which was offered on 1998 and 1999 models.

Viper GTS Silver with Blue Stripes

Secondly there is the Deep Sapphire Blue with Silver Stripes scheme which was only available in the 2001 model year in both stock and ACR forms.

Should have some more racing variants soon but it is nice to focus on some simplier liveries too.

Well it has been a while, but I am back with a few bits and pieces.

First of all is this Zakspeed Viper GTS-R which is loosely based on the car that took part in the 24 hours of Spa back in 2003. It isn't perfect but a decent representation of the car, it was actually the first livery I completed in GT7 and have gone back to make some smaller changes to it before uploading.

Next up is a yellow with black stripes Viper ACR based on a car I found on 'Bring A Trailer' - a fairly simple style really.

Dodge Viper GTS ACR (Yellow with Black Stripes)

Next up we have a style based on the Hertz Shelby GT500Hs, though as the one in the game is a 350 I have done the graphics to match this.

Finally there is this selection of Nismo tuned cars, one of which I have shown before but for completeness is included - these are the R32, R33, R34 & 350Z. Although in the pictures they have UK registration plates the styles come with the default factory plates.

That's all for now, as ever all styles are left open so colours can easily be changed and what not.

When are you diving into the Zakspeed Nordschleife Viper rabbithole? :dopey:

That green Zakspeed Viper... 😍😍
Also, as a Nissan guy, its a very welcomed surprise to see someone who is already making what i consider the best made vipers in the game also doing Nismos

Thanks its appreciated, @Nuschel01 I do have a lot of what is needed for other Zakspeed Vipers its just getting them on the cars as sometimes the way some decals are placed is frustrating but watch this space I guess.

In the mean time I just have one more which is American Viperacing #44 which took part in the 2002 American Le Mans Series and finished 3rd in the GTS class alongside car #45. Now there is a bit of a compromise here as it is made up of various photos so it may have some sponsorship parts from different races and what not and the red stripes on the side really aren't perfect but it was just a quick one to keep the juices flowing.
