1. How do you force two words to be found together?
2. How do you exclude certain phrases in your search?
I've tried using Boolean operators (AND, NOT, OR) and they don't seem to work. Is there a way to get phrases to appear together in a search, rather than have them appear scattered from one post to antoher, or from two separate parts of the same post? Throwing a couple words together usually works, but sometimes a specific answer isn't easy to find, nor appears at all, when using often-used words and/or phrases. Sometimes using two search terms (if both are not "excluded" words) yields just one of the terms, the other ignored.
For example: Flotsam Jetsam
- In most cases, both of these words did not appear in any part of the same post, when searching by post. (I chose those words because I didn't think there would be many posts to comb through, and that they wouldn't be excluded for being too common.)
