Hi all,

I come to ask for help, I intend to change my Logitech G27 steering wheel in him changing the wheel for a Sparco original P285mm, the problem is that I can not find this 6 wheel fasteners on the internet, I find the model in three fasteners.

My question is where to find EXACTLY the same wheel Sparco steering wheel that is mounted on this T500rs?

I hope you can help me, until I thank you and wish you a wonderful evening.

Hi Yinato

I had a look through my Demon Tweeks Motorsport catalogue, and that style of wheel is showing as 3-hole only... I suspect that the one in the photo has had extra holes drilled by the owner to fit... because one hole goes through the Sparco logo... this is not usual for Sparco equipment! It is not a difficult job to add the extra holes yourself, though.

That wheel is part number 015P285S .... 285mm, suede finish. Price is around 140gbp

These guys are very good for shipping overseas.

Thank you very much for your information my friend! 👍

I think you're right, the steering wheel Sparco P285 has only one version in 3 mounting holes, it must be the owner who has himself pierced three holes.

I intend to mount this wheel Sparco steering wheel on my Logitech G27, do you think for a gain in efficiency it would be better so'rienter on a model of 270 mm or 285 mm?

While waiting for your answer thank you and wish you a wonderful evening.

Regards,
Yinato.

The original G27 wheel is 275mm, so the difference between 270mm or 285mm is almost nothing to worry about for choice, but maybe the 285mm is slightly closer towards "real car" size?

The small extra increase in size should also be ok to keep using the paddle-shifters, unless you have small hands?

Thank you very much for your answers, it's great! 👍

DerekSpeare, I intend to order an adapter to fit in to my Logitech G27 steering wheel of a wheel Sparco! Am I obliged to have six mounting holes or 3 enough?

Could you tell me how your adapter weighs?

Would you know also how much the wheel weighs about Sparco P285? The wheel weighs 800 grams G27 would require the Sparco wheel weighs less or slightly more.

I would like to thank you again.

Good evening, I eagerly await your answers!

Regards,
Yinato.

I put the drill template up so you won't need an adapter. If you have to drill your wheel, drill it to fit your G27. The weight of the adapter is negligible, and I have countless numbers in service. If your wheel has 3 holes in it from the factory then those are most likely on a 2" circle. You can simply drill 3 more on a 55mm circle opposite the ones there and bolt the wheel on.

You can buy my adapter, but you won't need to.

Thank you again for your responses.

I do think 2 pounds is anormal, I would have my information from reliable sources.

@DerekSpeare,

Thank you for your reply but I have not understood your message, how can I fix a wheel Sparco steering wheel on a Logitech G27 without an adapter? Voudirez sure I fixed directly on the plastic?

Could you also tell me about the approximate weight of a wheel Sparco P285 please?

I've tried to be of assistance. The mounting circle of a G27 is 55mm. You can drill your wheel to match that. The template I supplied will allow you to do it accurately.

If you are going to drill your wheel, there is no sense in drilling it to fit a 70mm pattern to force yourself into an adapter if you can simply drill it to fit the 55mm mount on your wheel.

Good luck and happy racing!
