I think because it was a limited production. I had a white one way back in the day.

Wouldn't mind knowing if it was actually any good. As I remember, the middle bit was twistable so you could turn or steer the car in a game that supported it.

It was an interesting concept I thought. And it reminded me of the Jog-con.... That was pretty interesting as well, never tried it out though.
