I was about done with GT5 when the updates started showing up, so Im very happy about that!
But I was disappointed to find no restrictions on update 3, but was happy to find that they lifted them from even 2. I turned my last silver into gold.
Actually, I think a very good model for future updates is to make the new wave restricted, then open it up once its older.
It would give those who like to tune a reason to; like myself, it adds some intelligence to the game on top of the great racing, but then allows people to pass and get the credits / XP later if they couldnt achieve the challenge.
One of the biggest flaws, imo, in GT Life mode is that they have such a great tuning system and no need to tune anything. Seasonal, at least at first, resolved this.
