Seasonal Bonus Race 7 RX7 Eiffel

What a fun race this is!

Really fun circuit to drive on, used my 3 stock RX7's to begin with to learn the circuit (GTX, RSR, Bathurst) and managed to get 4th with the Bathurst RX7 on sport hard tyres.

Then used my tuned RX7 that I had used in an earlier seasonal event (can't remember whether it was from seasonals 1 or 2) which was the premium Spirit RX7 tuned to 390bhp with clutch/freewheel mods which I took the lead on the penultimate lap (and nearly spun out on the last lap after braking too late on the right corner that drops steeply after a blind crest).

In all the races there was lots of drifting fun to be had (especially in the tuned RX7) despite SRF being compulsory and it was funny watching some of the AI spin out... especially on the first lap where I've had to make emergency avoidance manoeuvres to avoid the carnage. :D
 
That race was so much fun.

The AI spinning out on the first lap caught me off guard the first time I did it. There was a cloud of smoke and I didn't see anything as I drove through when all of a sudden I see the front of another car facing me. I pulled to one direction as quickly as possible and I just scratched the car a little as I went past.

Also this is the first time I've ever drifted on two wheels. I actually got my car balancing on two wheels and sliding sideways with smoke coming out of the two tires.
 
I love this track ive never spend so much time on 2 wheels, this track needs to be added to the main game i'd play on it quite often thats one for sure :D
 
Loved it too.
Drove Rx-7 with Race Soft. Was overpowered but i never drove that much on two wheels like in this race. I already tried to get something similar in Course Maker but i wasnt lucky yet :(
 
lol... I have to agree with everybody. The eifel track has much to offer!
You can drive real fast on this track, but it's also very cool to play with the cars.
Sliding on the hills gives much fun!
 
Best of the Bonus Races so far. I wish we could download that track for later use.
 
Most fun SE yet for me, the AI drivers going off the road and smoking tires just cracks me up, love this event.
 
Well what can I say other than can we have this track in the main game? Only took 9th in a 93 Type R (FD,J, whatever that means!) with medium/hards but I dont care- it was fun! Stayed on all fours mind altho there was a lot of smoking and spinning in front of me- couldnt see why!
