Seasonal Event rewards

Maybe this should be in the other forum, I don't know because it's more a question regarding tickets than events. Is there a way to "preview" immediate-receive prizes (like the Camaro LM) using either the open-all method or the savedata backup method?

I suppose I should be a little more specific. The only Camaro LM I'm lacking is the black and white, already possessing the red, yellow, blue, and green, and I was hoping there was a way to influence getting it or somehow determine I've gotten it without re-running the last race repeatedly like I am now.

I believe the only way that I know of doing it would be the following:

1. Complete the last race
2. Before exiting the race screen of said event sign out of PSN
3. Then exit the race, this will take you to the Seasonal Events page but it will say No Seasonal Events Found
4. Exit the Seasonal Events Screen
5. Save the game, or it could save automatically (I'm not sure) and back up the save to an hdd or use PS+
6. Sign in to PSN again
7. Load up the Seasonal Event screen where you did the events and receive the ticket
8. Check the truck - if it's not the one you want based on the color palette (should be black I think) then quit and reload the backup
9. Repeat 8 until you get the Black one.
 
So you're saying receiving the ticket may require me being signed in and the automatic save that it does after leaving the event would NOT be followed by receiving the ticket as it normally is? And should a flash drive work when doing the backup? That's what I usually use.

Yeah HDD or memory stick - any external device that allows copying.

And the prize ticket is only awarded when you're on the Event Screen and logged in/connected to the internet - it will still log the win of the last event because I've had this happen to me before inadvertently when my internet went off during the last race (as it does a lot) and when I logged back in again and went back to the screen for that event I was awarded the ticket then.

But try it and see if it works.
 
Worked a treat, thank you SO much. I tell you, though, I was getting real good at lapping Madrid in a Panther Pink Challenger. :lol:
