Seasonal Events Supercar Race freezing?

Recently I've been grinding the Supercar Race (Paris) in the Seasonal Events to save up for the Nardo in the used car dealership. I would do the race once, then immediately started another one. Upon finishing the race, the car would go into the usual autopilot but the race results wouldn't show up. I had to quit the game because it completely locked up. So I tried changing cars... same thing: quits after immediately going to and finishing the second race. Once again I had to restart the game. This time, I figured I would just quit after the first race, re-enter the Seasonal Events area and race again. Naturally, it's freezing after completing the first race now. Is there anything I can do about this?

Also, as soon as I manually quit the game with the XMB, it says "please wait" and I hear it unfreeze. :grumpy:
 
Now I'm noticing that the pause menu does not show up in a race where it's going to freeze, and it doesn't make the little sound effect for crossing the finish line or showing the time gaps. So there's no way to back out of it once you're in an unfinishable race. Anyone else having these problems?
 
Might be your system, your connection or just one of those things. I ran Supercar about 29 times yesterday (14 mil) and no problems.
 
Probably Internet or psn connection. You using wireless? If so that might contribute.
 
I am having the same problem with the game freezing up, but it work for the first 9 months I have had the game. If you figure it out let me know. thanks

Same here. In my situation it happens when I reload a previous save. I will keep trying to go to the Seasonals and it will just keep freezing. Strange enough the fix for me is to either run a remote race, or a Sunday Cup/any A-Spec race after restoring a previous save.

This happens to me also. Sometimes I am able to start the race but it will wait until the end of the race to freeze.

I do lots of remote racing so it's not a huge issue for me.
